A message from Linda

Believe it or not, this is an election year…already…and so the fun begins in campaigning, holding events, and working hard to once again be elected by the citizens of this wonderful City of New Bedford.

In my last campaign, you were very supportive of me and attended several of my functions to assist in my fundraising endeavors. I  am hoping that you would consider joining my family and I again this year in support of yours truly. I have several events scheduled this year, the first of which is a Breakfast Buffet

On Sunday, April 3, 2005, 9 to 11”30 a.m. at the Days Inn 500 Hathaway Rd. This is an all you can eat breakfast buffet, with eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fries, muffins, juice and coffee. Tickets are $20.00 each for adults and  $8.00 for children 12 and under. I hope that you will be able to join us. Please let me know if you would like tickets, and I will send them directly to you in the mail.

Thanks again for you continued support and encouragement of me in my Councillor role. I believe I was elected because I promised the Residents of Ward 1, independent leadership that they could be proud of on the New Bedford City Council. I believe my voting record over the last 416 days of my term has proven that fact. And I look forward to my continued career in the political arena in the wonderful City of New Bedford.

Linda is Councilor of Ward 1, but her vote affects the whole city. She has an e-mail list of over 900 names on it. They are not only ward 1 residents but are residents of other Wards. If you would like to be on her list her address is  nbward1councilor@aol.com   when issues are coming up for votes she e-mails everyone on her list and asks for your thoughts on it.

                                                                                                                                    Sincerely

                                                                                                                                    Marion McMullen
